De Castro e Seu Conjunto - De Castro Toca e Voce Danca (1962)

Masterplay MDL 13016

Another masterpiece by Avena de Castro.

The focus of interest of the delighted, smiling, young gentleman on the front cover is obvious.

The focus of interest of those interested mainly in Avena's music should be:

01. É Luxo Só (Ary Barroso / Luis Peixoto)
02. Palpite Infeliz (Noel Rosa)
03. Não Vou Pra Brasília (Billy Blanco)
04. Se Acaso Você Chegasse (Lupicínio Rodrigues / Felisberto Martins)
05. Tentação (Jorge Roberto)
06. Se Você Soubesse (Valmurio)
07. Este Seu Olhar (Tom Jobim)
08. Sorriu Para Mim (Garoto / Luiz Cláudio)
09. E Daí (Miguel Gustavo)
10. Saudade Fez Um Samba (Сarlos Lуra / Ronaldo Вôscoli)
11. Brigas Nunca Mais (Tom Jobim / Vinicius de Moraes)

The focus of interest for those interested in enriching their collection of music is clearly labelled as:

THE FOCUS OF INTEREST

  1. Hi, Milan!
Thank you for the great LP of Heitor Avena de Castro with his misterious "citar" (kind of amerindian harp?)!

  2. Thanks Bossanov! There was, by the way, also another album by Avena de Castro posted on the previous version of Bau de LongPlaying: "Naquele Tempo" The post was not renewed on the current site, but the link still works. You may find it easily on the net.

    1. Hi, Milan!
Russia must help our citizens and ethnic Russians anywere, I think.. But better way of it is using "soft power"!
I must say, that when 2014 was just at the beginning, I was slightly afraid of 1914 repetition - as you know, the beginning of 1st WW, then revolutions in Russia (the bloodiest part of it was bloody anarchy in now Ukrain), Germany, Hungary, Turkey, etc. with millions killed...
Why Eastern Europe can't live as Brazil in XX, with rapid development and only with short periods of mild dictature?
      Sincerely, Bossanov

    2. I agree. But if that (firm) action was not soft, I don't see what could be softer.
Putin's action was a tremendous success and nobody got killed so far.
Contrary to the usual "human right protection and democracy enforcements" by the U.S. which, as a rule, leaves millions of dead behind.
